Kliperio MCP: let Claude, Codex or Claude Code make videos
Kliperio runs an MCP server at https://kliperio.com/mcp. Add it to your AI app, press Allow once, and the AI can look up models, quote a price, make the video and hand you the download, all on your own account.
Seedance 2.5 from€0.3287 tokens
Through MCP a 5-second Seedance 2.5 clip costs €0.328 (7 tokens), the same as in the studio. A UGC video ad starts at €0.45, the AI sees each price before it starts, and a failed job costs nothing.

What your AI can do
Everything the studio does, from a chat
The tools run through the same code as the website: the same models, prices, rules and budget. What the AI makes lands in your Library.
Quote before it spends
The AI lists the models your account may use and asks for the exact price of a job before it makes anything.
Make clips, pictures and UGC ads
Seedance, Kling, Veo and the other models, product pictures, UGC ads with an avatar and your product, edits and Upscale HD.
Use your own photos
In a terminal the AI uploads files itself. In a chat app it gives you a page link where you drop up to 6 pictures and 2 clips.
Wait, then download
It follows each job until it is done and gives you a download link, or tells you in plain words why a job failed.
Connect
Connect with a button: no key to copy
Your AI app signs in with OAuth. You confirm once on a Kliperio page, and you can disconnect it any time on the Connect page in your account.
- 1
Add the server
Paste https://kliperio.com/mcp into your AI app as a custom connector or MCP server.
- 2
Press Allow
A Kliperio page opens. Sign in if asked, check the app's name, and press Allow. You may be asked to confirm your password first.
- 3
Ask for a video
Tell the AI what to make. It quotes the price, makes the job and brings back the link.
In Claude (web, desktop and phone)
Open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. Paste https://kliperio.com/mcp, press Connect, then press Allow on the Kliperio page. Once it is added on the web it works in the Claude phone apps too.
On Team and Enterprise plans an owner adds it once under Organization settings, then each member presses Connect for their own Kliperio account.
In Claude Code
Add the server, then run /mcp and choose Authenticate
claude mcp add --transport http kliperio https://kliperio.com/mcpIn Codex (the CLI and the IDE extension)
Add the server, then sign in; a browser opens for Allow
codex mcp add kliperio --url https://kliperio.com/mcp
codex mcp login kliperioAdvanced
With a personal token
For scripts, servers, or an app that cannot sign in with a button. Make a token on the Connect page (under Advanced); it is shown once, and the page fills it into these snippets.
Keep the token secret: it acts as you. Put it in an environment variable rather than in a file you share, and revoke it on the Connect page when you stop using it.
Claude Code with a token
claude mcp add --transport http kliperio https://kliperio.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer klp_..."Codex: ~/.codex/config.toml (set KLIPERIO_TOKEN in your shell first)

url = "https://kliperio.com/mcp"
bearer_token_env_var = "KLIPERIO_TOKEN"
tool_timeout_sec = 120Claude Desktop set up by hand (Settings, Developer, Edit Config; needs Node.js)

}Tools
The tools, as your AI sees them
Each tool says whether it only reads or makes something, so your AI app can ask you before it acts.
| Tool | What it does | Kind | What it costs |
|---|---|---|---|
| list_modelsList models | Lists the models your account may use: what each makes, the files and settings it takes, and an example price. | Reads only | Nothing |
| estimate_priceEstimate a price | Works out what a job will cost before anything is made. It is the same price create_job then charges. | Reads only | Nothing |
| get_upload_urlGet an upload link | Gives a one-time link to upload a photo or clip from a terminal, for Claude Code and Codex. | Makes or changes something | Nothing |
| get_upload_pageGet an upload page for the person | Gives you a page link to drop your photos and clips on, for chat apps that have no terminal. | Makes or changes something | Nothing |
| get_uploaded_filesGet the files from an upload page | Reads what you sent from that page, ready to use in a job. | Reads only | Nothing |
| create_jobCreate a job | Starts a clip, a picture, a UGC ad, an edit or an upscale, paid from your balance at the quoted price. | Makes or changes something | The job's price, quoted first by estimate_price |
| get_jobGet a job | Shows how a job is going and, once it is done, a download link that works for a day. | Reads only | Nothing |
| list_jobsList my jobs | Lists your latest jobs, newest first, with links to the finished ones. | Reads only | Nothing |
| cancel_jobCancel a job | Stops one of your jobs. A job still waiting in line is cancelled at no charge. | Can cancel or remove | Nothing; a waiting job is not charged |
| list_ad_templatesList UGC ad templates | Lists the UGC ad templates you can use. | Reads only | Nothing |
| ad_writerWrite hooks or what happens in a UGC ad | Writes hooks, or what happens in a UGC ad, with the same writers the studio uses. | Makes or changes something | Your plan's monthly writes first, then €0.09 a call |
| write_ad_promptsWrite a UGC ad's prompts | Writes every prompt a UGC ad needs (avatar, product picture, scene and video) with the right model and settings. | Reads only | Nothing |
| get_accountMy account | Shows your plan, what you spent this month and what is left. | Reads only | Nothing |
Team-only tools are left out: they are not available to customer accounts.
Prices
What common jobs cost through MCP
The same prices as in the studio, read live. The AI gets them from estimate_price before it makes anything.
| Job | Settings | Price |
|---|---|---|
| A UGC video ad | 5 s · 480p | €0.4510 tokens |
| A Seedance 2.5 clip | 5 s · 480p | €0.3287 tokens |
| A Kling 3.0 clip | 5 s · 720p | €0.5412 tokens |
| A Veo 3.1 clip | 4 s · 720p | €0.276 tokens |
| A product picture | Seedream 5.0 Flash | €0.0271 token |
| One AI hook | one ad_writer call | €0.092 tokens |
Prices before VAT. Longer and sharper clips cost more; estimate_price gives the exact figure for any settings.
Limits
Limits worth knowing
120 requests a minute
Per token or connected app. That is plenty for an AI working step by step.
Short-lived upload links
An upload link works for 15 minutes and takes one file. Files not used in a job are deleted after 24 hours.
The same plan rules
Free accounts make up to 10 UGC ads a day, as in the studio. A plan lifts that and skips the queue.
Personal tokens
Up to 10 active personal tokens per account. Revoke one to make room.
Security
Your account stays yours
Only what you can do
A connected AI acts as you and nothing more: your jobs, your balance, your models. It cannot see anyone else's work.
Tokens you can end
Personal tokens start with klp_, app sign-ins with kla_. Only a fingerprint of each is stored. Revoke a token or disconnect an app on the Connect page and it stops at once.
A second check
Making a token or allowing an app asks you to confirm it is you, so a stolen browser session alone cannot connect a new app.
Is there a REST API?
No. There is no public REST API; MCP is how programs and AI agents use Kliperio. Any MCP client that speaks Streamable HTTP can connect, with OAuth or a personal token.
For directories
The server entry
The entry Kliperio publishes for MCP directories and registries.

}Questions, answered
Does Kliperio have an API?
Not a REST one. Kliperio offers an MCP server instead, which Claude, Claude Code, Codex and other MCP clients use to price and make videos and pictures on your account.
Does making videos through MCP cost more?
No. Every job costs exactly what it costs in the studio: a 5-second Seedance 2.5 clip is €0.328 either way. Connecting is free; you pay only for what the AI makes.
Which AI apps can connect?
Claude on the web, desktop and phone, Claude Code and Codex all work with it. Any other app that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP, with OAuth or a bearer token, should work.
Can the AI spend my balance without asking?
It spends only through create_job, at the price estimate_price showed, and most AI apps ask you before a tool that makes something. You can disconnect the app on the Connect page at any time.
How does the AI get my product photo?
In a terminal it uploads the file itself. In a chat app it gives you a page link: you drop your photos there, press Send, and the AI uses them in the job.
What happens when a job fails?
You pay nothing for it: the full price goes back on your balance automatically, and the AI tells you in plain words what went wrong.
Do I need a plan to use MCP?
No. A free account works: top up from €2 and connect. A plan adds monthly AI writes, no queue and more UGC ads a day.
